As we are within of week of crowning our new American Idol champion, I would like to take a look back at the season. Predicted Elimination: 13th Actual Elimination: 13th Reasons For Elimination: Well, the guy didn't just have the chops. America didn't vote him in for a reason but J Lo just had to put him in the Top 13. He didn't have the vocals or the confidence to succeed in a season like this. Former Contestant Most Likely Compared To: Jorge Nunez, Season 8. Both had pretty voices but were just swallowed up by the big stage.
