American Idol Season 11: Top 7 Current Songs
I loved the concept of this theme. It is always good to do current material. Older material always needs to be changed up a lot to make it fit your "style" and then you get criticized if you do too much. Wow I can not believe that we are in the Top 7 already and we HAVEN'T used the SAVE!!!! Well let's get down to business: Phillip Phillips - Give A Little More: Sorry but once again, not impressed. The beginning was actually okay but then it just got crazy strained. I like to see that the singer is enjoying it as opposed to looking like Hollie Cavanagh - Perfect: This is one of my favorite songs and I was curious to see what you would do with it. The first parts of it were pretty good. But when you went for the start of the 2nd chorus, it got a little scatterbrain. There were pitch problems throughout the latter part. I feel a disconnect with you and your songs. You are constantly thinking instead of enjoying the moment. It is such a shame because you have such a power...
